Overview
The 2ⁿᵈ International Conference on Health, Environment, Education, and Research 2026 (CHEER2026), an international conference series developed by the research team at EdUHK in 2026, offers an opportunity to discuss the latest environmental and health issues at both the educational and research levels. CHEER2026 will continue to share up-to-date knowledge and information with local and international experts to solicit scientific and technical input, facilitating the development of a holistic solution for formulating policies on environmental health issues worldwide.
Organic waste, such as food waste, garden waste, and waste sludge, has imposed critical burdens on the environment, consuming precious land resources and aggravating global warming. The International Conference on Biological Waste as Resource (BWR) series (i.e., BWR2014, BWR2017, BWR2018, BWR2019, and BWR2026) has offered a timely opportunity for knowledge exchange and technology transfer among academics and professionals all over the world to assist the formulation of an effective sustainable management agenda for organic waste in the local context, which satisfies the environmental compatibility, financial feasibility, and social needs.
